Zumba is an exercise fitness program created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto "Beto" Pérez during the 1990s. A Zumba class combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body using principles from aerobic and fitness to achieve cardio and muscle-toning benefits.
No dance experience? No worries! You do not need to be a professional dancer to enjoy Zumba. Just some comfortable shoes, a water bottle, your energy and your beautiful smile! Leave the rest to me! I promise to make every class feel like a party!
I understand that adapting new habits can be intimidating and challenging. I have been a Zumba Instructor since May 2015. When I started my Zumba journey, I did not know where this journey would lead me. Over the past 4 years, through Zumba Fitness and healthy eating habits, I have managed to lose over 80 pounds and have new found confidence in myself and my ability to teach.
In 2018, I decided to venture out and be "different." I wanted to teach in a Women's Only environment without the hassle of a gym membership. I wanted women to gain self confidence, build a relationship amongst each other and be able to feel safe and have fun without the worries of being "watched" or judged.
With the help and endless support of a local friend, I was able to provide that environment.
I, now, teach a WOMEN'S ONLY class and pride myself in teaching in a drama-free, non-judgmental environment.
